Objetivo General
Fomentar la revalorización cultura que promueva una cultura de paz en los pueblo de, Santiago Atitlán, San Pedro, San Juan, San Marcos La Laguna porque todos debemos compartir y ayudarnos como buenos vecinos, solo así seremos amigos leales, capaces de escuchar y ser sensibles a las necesidades de los demás.
Objetivos Específicos
Que tod@s l@s jóvenes interactúen y adquieran de las personas mayores conocimientos porque son un pozo de sabiduría, que deberíamos aprovechar para utilizarla como base de nuestro desarrollo social y personal.
Llegar a cada joven y aprovechar cada circunstancia, reconocer cada falta que cometemos, compartir todo el júbilo, contemplar cada misterio, caminar en los zapatos de cada hombre, sanar todos los corazones y respetar la verdad de cada persona.
DEBEMOS APRENDER DE LA EXPERIENCIA Y SABIDURÍA LAS PERSONA MAYORES.
La asociación vivamos Mejor, La asociación Aj Tziquin Jaay y la Iniciativa Juvenil en Acción Tz´utujil –IJATZ- ha invitado a varios líderes en diferentes ámbitos para que comparten sus experiencias y como se dieron cuenta de que hacer en la vida. Que compartan con la juventud atitlaneca ya que muchos están confundidos y no están seguros de que hacer en la vida, ya que una sociedad que no aprovecha la experiencia de los adultos mayores, limita sus posibilidades de conocimiento y desarrollo. Cada día, desde hace varias décadas, en diversos lugares y espacios, se llevan a cabo muchísimos trabajos y experimentos silenciosos que comprometen el esfuerzo y la dedicación de miles de personas. El objetivo de todas estas iniciativas es avanzar en la lucha por el desarrollo, contra la pobreza, por los derechos, la justicia y la equidad; en suma, por el desarrollo humano de la gran mayoría de nuestra población. Toda experiencia puede dar lugar a un aprendizaje si se procesa debidamente por sus ejecutores. De esta forma se puede ir generando un bagaje de conocimientos prácticos basados en el conjunto de experiencias de un determinado proceso de intervención. Tales conocimientos prácticos pueden ser de gran utilidad. Haciendo uso del conocimiento basado en su experiencia,
